The seven things people hesitate over
Roughly in the order they arrive — including the one you should read before you go anywhere near an open tank, whoever ends up doing the work.
A person calls you back — not an auto-reply, not a ticket number. They ask what the tank is doing, how long it has been since the last clean, and where you are, and then they give you a time. You are not booked, and you owe nothing, until you say yes to that time.
We will give you the range and tell you exactly what moves it: tank type and size, the years since the last clean, how hard the sludge has set, and how far the tanker can park from the cover. The firm number comes at your gate, once we have looked inside — and it does not move once the hose is in. Anyone who commits to an exact figure without seeing your tank is either guessing, or planning to renegotiate with you later, standing over an open tank, when you have no way to say no.
If it is an emergency — an overflow, a backflow into the house, a monsoon flood — we run 24/7, festivals included, and you should call rather than fill in a form. For a normal booking, tell us your location and we will give you the first honest slot we have. If we cannot reach you tonight, we will say so tonight, not at eight tomorrow morning.
Usually, yes. We run hoses from the nearest point the tanker can park, which is how most of the old city gets served. Don't assume you are unreachable and quietly give up on booking — send us a photo of the lane and the tank cover on WhatsApp, and we will tell you before you commit to anything whether we can reach it. If we genuinely cannot, we will say that too. We cover Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and the surrounding districts.

Keep children, pets and food away from any standing waste, and wash your hands hard if you touch it. Open the windows. Do not light a flame near an open tank, do not lower a lamp into it — and whatever anyone tells you, do not climb in. The gas that collects in a full tank is hydrogen sulphide, it is both poisonous and flammable, and it has killed people in this valley who went down to unblock something themselves. It is a tank. It can wait an hour. You cannot be replaced.
You pay when the job is finished and you have looked into the empty tank yourself — not before. What you pay is what we agreed at your gate. No deposit to hold a slot, and no second, larger number invented once the truck is already at your house.
We do, and nobody else. It is stored securely, it is used to call you back about this job, and that is the end of it. We do not sell lists, we do not send marketing, and we do not pass your details to anyone.
